Thank you, I would suggest "Start" be renamed then. In just about everything else that would essentially be a "Start new game" button, and I dont think I would have ever clicked on it after I already had saves to load

(1 edit)

How do I change dice, I changed to Jackalopes Fate and kinda hate everything being a coin flip, but I cant even have the default after starting a new save.

And going through the fight again I literally rolled 10 fails in a row

Are you telling me, that Alon can do a fucking Judgement Cut End? Seriously? He was already my favorite you didn't need to do this, I didn't need to love him even more.

HE ALSO HAS A FUCKING GUN??

no problem. Ive really enjoyed the writing so far which is why I was more confused than annoyed.

Wow Killigan seemed real chill about the whole "Im going to imprison and torture you for the rest of your life thing". She didnt even apologize really, and was ready to do it again as soon as she saw him! Her negligence, her actual abhorrent lack of ethics in research, almost KILLED the entire graduating parties AND the headwizards! And nobody seemed to bat an eye! Like am I the only who who feels that whole ending was super rushed and weirdly low key for what happened? The monster sent tremors that could disrupt spells in a wide area of effect, and without Killigan would have been functionally unstoppable, but nobody even mentions it?

Like this update in particular is so tonally dissonant with the actual events taking place that it's wild to me. We've seen serious things get the emotional and narrative weight they deserve but this just kinda...happened. Please tell me I'm not the only one that feels that this update was downright weird with its tone and handling of what should have been a very very bad thing that happened.

The downloads are still 3.3 rather than 3.4

Short, yes, but fuck was it dense. I have been WAITING for this moment, and I'm so fucking glad Luke called them on their shit. I am so excited to see the fallout, and I can sympathize with Luke so much. I'm excited to see the monster attack, to finally find out what the monsters *are*, but mostly I'm excited to see if anything happens during it to change Luke's perspective. I kinda hope there isn't some sudden one time occurrence that makes Luke suddenly feel like he belongs after this longstanding buildup of regret is finally being expressed; I wanna see him follow through on what happened before the power cut. I wanna see him fully express his depression in a tangible way that isn't just bottling up the isolation and bitterness that's been pushed upon him. I want to see him "punish" the dogs, so to speak, by just fucking off. Not like, actively hurting people obviously, but moreso showing them "you don't know what you've got till it's gone" type thing.

Those are just my personal hopes though. I'm someone who can relate a LOT to what Luke's expressed, and I mostly just hope that it isn't brushed aside. Whatever the end result is, I'll accept as long as it isn't just a "oh the dogs saved him from mortal danger once and said they're sorry so the resentment of years of mistreatment and ostracizing is gone now :) " resolution that I see *way* too often in stories that handle this topic.

TL;DR Great update FUCK am I invested in these funny pups

The description explicitly says entering senior year. They could have easily made it so they were entering college. Its still a porn game about high schoolers. Anyone can use all the thermian arguments to justify why its technically legal, but its still a porn game about highschoolers. College exists and is for adults if an academic setting is needed or they need to be students. The fact that the creator said they're 18 proves my point. They would only do that if they know making porn of minors is wrong or knows people will rightfully criticize then for making porn of underaged teens. They want them to be highschoolers, be in a grade where they would reasonably be 16/17 like in the original, but still had to clarify that they are technically legal. If a creator has to clarify that the characters are technically legal despite all common sense saying otherwise, that truly speaks volumes.

This is more preemptive and not directed at you specifically; I'm not slinging insults or being vague and unreasonable. I'm leveling serious criticism that any artistic would would face upon reaching the public. If the artist/creator cannot reasonably justify why making them high schoolers in a pornographic game is needed and the work would be worse without it being porn of high schoolers, then why are they teenagers in highschool. If they were 18 then they'd be graduating. Its just that simple. A throw away line simply highlights the fact that the criticism was valid enough that it needed to be addressed, Because again: This is a porn game about highschool juniors(typically 16/17), based on a porn game primarily filled with underaged characters.

I just checked this online, most people do NOT turn 18 in their junior year. Japan's highschool still ends off at 18 like America's. Also most of the cast were underage in the original, so you'll forgive me if I'm not so quick to believe that's anything but a "I promise all characters are totally technically legal guys! They all are exactly 18 and there for its ok!" Considering again, they're juniors going on seniors and there for would be at the same age they were in the original, aka minors.

"Before starting their senior year of highschool"

"This game is intended for players 18+"

So you can write porn about 16/17 year olds that cant be played by 16/17 year olds. Furry porn artists in a fucking nutshell

I wont spoil it, Ill just say that when Chase, Jenna, and Leo are together in the hotel room alone, something happens. Its not a jumpscare, its not flashing or loud or anything like that. Something comes on the screen, and its not sudden or even really startling. But it is genuinely one of the most disturbing things despite how simple it is. Actual proper horror, not cheap hollywood yelling BOO and making you jump type stuff.

You also see chase's shadow in Jenna's route, in honest to god one of the scariest fucking things in the entire game.

Yeah. His family is an excuse to justify it to himself and to others.

Theres one separate entity that is a force over the town, manipulating people. These people die and become wraiths, shadows of their former selves and are the more....specific entities. The burned creature for example(that Jenna mentions seeing and is seen when they ride in the van in multiple routes) is a specific character. We know who it is. And their actions line up. There is a "boss" so to speak, tormenting people on a very general level, assumidly to feed on their misery or fear or whatever. We MIGHT have seen said boss in Flynn's route, but thats up to interpretation. Depending on that, we have at least 3 known and named entities in the Burned Man(Flynn's route), Chase's shadow(Possibly? End of Leo's route/the Smoke Room prequel for context), and possibly Sydney(again, Flynn's route).

Spoilers mainly for Leo's Route

Leo wanted to stay in Echo for a number of reasons. He refused because he's stubborn, which is why the best ending means you HAVE to break up with him. Chase HAS to move on to get out. Part of Echo's supernatural effects is a burden. A burden of guilt, of trauma, weighing you down and keeping you still. Leo was ironically one of the more affected ones by Sydney's death, not that anyone got off scott free. More to say that it seems Leo's trauma response was to tighten up the group, and refuse to let them go, to let it go, out of fear. Moving out of Echo is a change, a big one. Leo cant do change. Even after what happened, in basically every route he STILL doesn't move. His trauma response was perfect for the curse of Echo to feed off of, keeping him there. His only reason for staying wasn't just his family, that was more so an excuse.

No wonder I couldnt find it, thank you.

Im losing my mind trying to find the passcode for day 10 to avoid the *BAD* and *BAD* happening. Apparently its one of the words that is said throughout day 9, but ive been at this for literal hours trying at this point more than 100 words. I THINK its a noun, since every other passcode ive found is a noun. Can I get a hint? Which route to look in? Some kind of relation? I dont need the exact word, just something more than "Check every word on every route of day 9, some words repeat and its one of those"

Im still stuck trying to find it, can I get a hint please

I mean, the game is just increadibly bare bones right now. I expected more than just a prologue based on the file size. Ofc they can work at their own pace, I was just annoyed because what I saw so far was interesting but theres really nothing there other than a premise and thats diappointing.

I just finished all the routes and I gotta say, Im loving the eldritch vibes here. I especially love how when you know so little, for example by doing the William route first(which is what I did), the being seems like a force rather than a physical manifestation. Then between the Nik route and the Murdoc route, you get to see that its kinda both? It seems to be a physical being, inhabiting the mines, that has an aura that affects the town of Echo, which is really interesting! I havent checked out what this is a prequel to, but I almost dont want to. I like how this creature has all the eldritch unstoppable devil vibes....until Murdoc tears the photo. Clearly this beast was manifesting through the imagery to affect Sam, but by doing something as simple as ripping up a photo he destroyed that avenue of influence. This is a beast that has great power, but only in the shadows, and can absolutely get its ass beat. I love those kinds of stories, and Im really excited to see where this goes in terms of taking on that creature and destroying it and its influence.

Great game, if you like typing. Couldn't get farther than the name editor on android. All those megabytes are worthless if I can't do anything but type in the name slot. Can't even hit enter, nothing happens.

Wait is that it? How is this game 111mb when theres barely anything to it? Also is the first chapter going to come out ever? Considering its been 100 days since the last update it seems? The style is really cute but theres just nothing here

None of those events are affected by the dialogue option "Something for curse" in which you can give him restrain potions, lust potions, corrupted lust potions, ect. I was asking if there are scenes only accessible based on what, if any, option you choose during that dialogue option. In addition, if you don't give him anything, you're backed out to the dialogue menu like normal with the option still avalible for later. Try to back out of that however and you're booted to the dialogue menu with it gone.

If I had to guess as a programmer myself: since the game is based mainly around male/male content, take the potions change your character to "Only into guys" or "only into girls". That means homosexual actually means "only into guys" in terms of the game's code itself.

What does the "Something against curse" option with Rhot ACTUALLY do. If theres a sex event Im missing with Rhot based on this I wanna know. Does it only affect warrior lust stats?
